The WNBA Team Trends, Scores and Streaks Tracker is a free browser-based women's basketball statistics tool designed to turn completed WNBA game results into an easy-to-read team comparison. WNBA schedules can produce meaningful changes in team performance over relatively short periods. Injuries, travel, lineup changes, player availability, schedule difficulty and offensive efficiency can all influence recent results. A team that performed one way early in the season may produce very different statistics several weeks later. What Is a WNBA Team Trends Tracker?

A WNBA team trends tracker summarizes a sequence of completed games rather than displaying only one result. A normal scoreboard tells you who played, who won and what the final score was. A trends tracker helps answer broader questions about how teams have performed across several games.

For example, users may want to identify which WNBA teams have the best winning percentage during the last thirty days, which clubs are currently on winning streaks, which teams are scoring the most points per game or which teams have recently participated in high-scoring games.

WNBA Wins and Losses

Wins and losses are the foundation of the team ranking table. A team receives a win whenever its final score is higher than its opponent's score. The opposing team receives a loss. Only completed games with valid final scores are included.

If a team plays six games during the selected period and wins four, the rankings display four wins and two losses. Sorting the Wins column places teams with the highest number of victories at the top of the table.

Raw win totals are useful, but teams can sometimes play different numbers of games during a selected date range. For this reason, the page also calculates winning percentage.

WNBA Winning Percentage

Winning percentage is calculated by dividing wins by completed games. A team winning eight of ten games has an 80 percent winning percentage. Another team winning six of seven games has fewer total wins but a higher winning rate.

Winning percentage is especially useful for custom date ranges because WNBA teams may not always play exactly the same number of games within a particular window. Schedule differences, postponements and the boundaries of the selected period can create unequal game counts.

Users should still consider sample size. A team with a perfect record over two games has produced a 100 percent winning percentage, but that short sample provides less information than a team that has won nine of ten games.

WNBA Winning Streaks

Winning streaks measure consecutive victories ending with the most recent game in the selected date range. If a team has won its last five loaded games, the tracker displays a five-game winning streak.

Winning streak statistics provide a quick way to identify teams producing strong recent results. Sorting by W Streak places teams with the longest active streaks near the top.

The streak calculation is limited to games contained inside the selected range. If a team's official streak began before the chosen start date, the tracker may display a shorter value than an official league statistic.

WNBA Losing Streaks

Losing streaks are calculated in the same manner. The tracker begins with a team's most recent completed game and counts consecutive losses until a victory appears.

Losing streaks can provide useful context about recent form, but they should not be viewed independently. A losing streak may include close games against strong opponents, while another team's losses may have occurred against weaker competition.

WNBA Points Scored Per Game

PF/G represents average points scored per game during the selected period. The calculation adds all points scored by a team and divides the total by completed games.

If a team scores 84, 90, 78 and 88 points in four games, it produces 340 total points and averages 85 points per game. Sorting the PF/G column helps identify the highest-scoring WNBA offenses within the selected sample.

Average points scored can change significantly depending on the date range. A team experiencing improved offensive efficiency may rank much higher over the last two weeks than over the entire season.

WNBA Points Allowed Per Game

PA/G measures average opponent scoring. A lower number generally indicates that a team has allowed fewer points during the selected period.

Suppose a team allows 76, 81, 72 and 79 points. Those opponents scored 308 total points, producing an average of 77 points allowed per game.

Points allowed can reflect defensive performance, but basketball scoring is influenced by pace, turnovers, opponent quality and game situations. PA/G should therefore be considered together with other statistics rather than used as a complete defensive evaluation.

Average Combined WNBA Game Total

Total/G represents the average combined score of games involving each team. It is calculated by adding points scored and points allowed and dividing by games played.

A team averaging 84 points scored and 80 points allowed participates in games averaging 164 combined points. A team averaging 88 points scored and 84 allowed produces an average game total of 172 points.

Sorting Total/G can quickly identify teams involved in relatively high-scoring or low-scoring contests during the selected period.

WNBA Over and Under Trend Analysis

The WNBA Team Trends Tracker includes a customizable total-points benchmark. Every completed game's combined score is compared against this number.

If a game finishes 88โ€“82, the teams combine for 170 points. Against a 163.5-point benchmark, that game is classified as Over. If another game finishes 78โ€“74, the combined score is 152 and the game is classified as Under.

When the combined score exactly matches the selected whole-number benchmark, the game is classified as Push.

Why the Default WNBA Benchmark Is 164 Points

The tracker begins with 163.5 points as a practical recent league scoring reference. The 2025 WNBA league average was 81.7 points per team per game, or about 163.4 combined points per game. Using 163.5 keeps the default close to that league average while avoiding Push results at the default setting.

The default should not be interpreted as the actual betting total for every WNBA game. Sportsbook totals vary by matchup and may change based on injuries, player availability, pace, offensive efficiency, defensive strength and other factors.

Users can replace the default with any benchmark they want to analyze. Examples might include 158.5, 160.5, 165.5, 170.5 or another value.

WNBA Over Results

A game is classified as Over whenever its combined final score exceeds the selected benchmark. If the line is 163.5 and a game finishes 91โ€“82, the total is 173 and the game is Over.

The Over column counts how many games involving each team exceeded the selected benchmark. Because the same reference value is applied consistently to every game, teams can be compared using a common scoring threshold.

WNBA Under Results

A game is classified as Under whenever the final combined score is lower than the selected benchmark. An 80โ€“75 game contains 155 points and would therefore be Under against a 163.5-point reference.

Teams with many Under results may have recently participated in lower-scoring contests. That pattern can result from strong defense, slower pace, offensive struggles or a combination of factors.

WNBA Push Results

Push results occur when the combined final score exactly equals a whole-number benchmark. For example, an 84โ€“80 game totals exactly 164 points and is classified as Over against the default 163.5 line. If you switch to a whole-number line such as 164.0, that same score would be a Push.

Half-point benchmarks such as 163.5 or 164.5 eliminate Push results because basketball final scores are whole numbers.

WNBA Consecutive Over Streaks

The O Streak category counts consecutive Over results ending with a team's most recent loaded game. If the team's latest four games all finished above the selected benchmark, its current Over streak is four.

The calculation works backward from the newest game until an Under or Push interrupts the sequence.

WNBA Consecutive Under Streaks

U Streak measures consecutive Under results ending with the latest game. This makes it possible to identify teams that have repeatedly participated in lower-scoring contests.

Changing the total-points benchmark can significantly alter Over and Under streak calculations. A sequence classified as Over against 160.0 points may look very different against a 170.0-point benchmark.

Why WNBA Date Range Analysis Matters

Full-season statistics provide useful context, but they can hide important changes that occur during the season. A team may begin slowly and improve after lineup adjustments, or a strong early-season team may decline after an injury.

Custom date ranges make it possible to focus on recent performance. A fourteen-day range emphasizes immediate form, while thirty or sixty days provides a broader sample.

Comparing several date ranges can be particularly useful. If a team ranks highly in PF/G over both the last thirty and sixty days, its scoring strength has persisted longer than a team that improved only during the last week.

Basketball statistics can change quickly when the sample is small. One overtime game or unusually efficient shooting performance can materially increase short-term scoring averages.

Users should therefore check the Games column before interpreting rankings. A team with a very high PF/G across two games does not provide the same amount of evidence as a team maintaining similar production across twelve games.

WNBA Overtime and Game Totals

Overtime can significantly affect basketball game totals because additional playing time creates more possessions and scoring opportunities. A game that was below the selected benchmark after regulation can finish Over after one or more overtime periods.

Basketball outcomes depend on many changing factors, including player health, matchup characteristics, shooting variance, turnovers and coaching decisions. Trends are useful descriptive information but should not be confused with certainty about future games.

WNBA Team Ranking Categories Explained

G represents games played during the selected date range. W represents wins, while L represents losses. Win % displays the percentage of completed games won by each team.

W Streak represents consecutive victories ending with the latest game. L Streak represents consecutive losses.

Over and Under show how many games finished above or below the selected total benchmark. Push counts games exactly matching a whole-number benchmark.

O Streak and U Streak measure consecutive Over and Under results. PF/G shows average points scored, PA/G shows average points allowed and Total/G represents average combined scoring.

Using WNBA Team Details

Clicking a team name opens its detailed game history. This section displays the date, opponent, venue, result, final score, combined total and Over-Under classification.

Detailed histories are valuable because aggregate statistics can sometimes hide important context. Two teams may have identical Over records but very different final scores. One may repeatedly finish only slightly above the benchmark while another produces extremely high-scoring games.

Using CSV Export for WNBA Research

After loading results, users can export the currently filtered and sorted rankings as a CSV file. CSV is a common format that can be opened in spreadsheet applications.

This feature can be useful when comparing several periods. For example, users can export thirty-day statistics, change the range to sixty days and export a second dataset. The two files can then be compared in a spreadsheet.
