Build your own timed practice exam from a pool of 400 original questions for Core 1 and Core 2. Choose the length, difficulty, domains, and time limit, then get graded answers with explanations and a score report that shows where to focus next.
Before you start: These are original practice questions, not real exam content. Scores are unofficial and only help you compare your own attempts. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing is saved, so print or save your score report before you close the page. For background on each topic, see the core notes and flashcards.
Set up an exam, answer every question, then submit to see your score report.

Each exam is drawn at random from the questions that match your settings. Questions are spread across the domains you select in proportion to the pool, so a 20-question Core 1 exam mirrors the weight of each domain instead of clustering in one area. Every attempt draws a new set, and answer choices are shuffled unless you turn that option off.
The pool includes multiple-choice, multiple-response, and simple performance-based tasks such as matching ports to protocols and putting procedures in order. Real performance-based questions can also include simulations, such as configuring settings or running commands, which a web page cannot fully reproduce.
The 400 questions are divided between the exams and their domains according to the official V15 domain weights, so practice time goes where exam points are.

Difficulty levels: Beginner questions check a single fact, such as a port number or a definition. Intermediate questions apply a concept to a short scenario. Advanced questions combine several facts, ask for the FIRST or BEST action, or are performance-based tasks.
In the score report, domains below 75% are marked as focus areas and ordered by impact: a low score in a heavily weighted domain comes first. Aim for 85% or higher across every domain before you book the real exam.
No. Every question is original and written from the public V15 exam objectives. NodnWebTools does not use or distribute leaked exam content, sometimes called brain dumps, which violates the CompTIA candidate agreement.
No. CompTIA does not publish how raw scores convert to its 100–900 scale, and the real exams weight questions differently. The estimate is a rough linear guide to compare your own attempts, not a prediction.
Aim for consistent scores of 85% or higher on mixed-difficulty, timed exams that cover every domain, then review every explanation, including for questions you answered correctly.
No. The exam runs entirely in your browser. Answers and results are not stored or sent, so they disappear when you close or reload the page. Print or save the score report if you want to keep it.
