Build a timed practice exam from 200 original CCNA 200-301 v1.1 questions. Choose the length, difficulty, and domains, then review explanations and a score report that shows where to study next.
Before you start: These are original practice questions, not Cisco exam items. They follow the 200-301 v1.1 exam topics, which you can sit through February 2, 2027. Cisco reports pass or fail and does not publish a numeric cut score, so this page shows an unofficial percentage. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing is saved, so print or save your score report before you close the page. For background on each topic, see the core notes and flashcards.
Set up an exam, answer every question, then submit to see your score report.

Each exam is drawn at random from the questions that match your settings. Questions are spread across the domains you select in proportion to the pool, so a 20-question exam mirrors the weight of each domain instead of clustering in one area. Every attempt draws a new set, and answer choices are shuffled unless you turn that option off.
The pool includes multiple-choice, multiple-response, and simple performance-based tasks such as matching a command to its job and putting a process in order. This page is not a device lab or a Packet Tracer simulator.
The 200 questions follow the published 200-301 v1.1 domain weights. IP connectivity, the largest domain, has the most questions.
| Domain | Exam weight | Questions | Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0 Network Fundamentals | 20% | 40 | 10 / 19 / 11 |
| 2.0 Network Access | 20% | 40 | 10 / 19 / 11 |
| 3.0 IP Connectivity | 25% | 50 | 13 / 24 / 13 |
| 4.0 IP Services | 10% | 20 | 5 / 9 / 6 |
| 5.0 Security Fundamentals | 15% | 30 | 8 / 14 / 8 |
| 6.0 Automation and Programmability | 10% | 20 | 6 / 9 / 5 |
Difficulty levels: Beginner questions check a single fact, such as an administrative distance. Intermediate questions apply a concept to a short scenario. Advanced questions combine several facts, ask for the FIRST or BEST action, or are performance-based tasks.
In the score report, domains below 75% are marked as focus areas and ordered by impact: a low score in a heavily weighted domain comes first. Aim for 85% or higher across every domain before you move on.
